CAMBODIA
Cambodia!! We had a nice short flight from Bangkok and we were happy to get to Siem Reap. The immigration line was short. Cole and I were a little sad because Halloween was coming and we were going to miss it in Hermosa. But, we ended up having a great Halloween with candy, a Boo Basket, and carving melons and it was a good first couple days in Cambodia!!

October 19-30
Today I went on a flight to Bangkok. It is a cool city!! The buildings are so tall! Our building was tall too and had so much fun stuff! A pool, a gym, two playgrounds, a basketball court and tennis court! And a garden! Our apartment was on the 12th floor and there was a pigeon on our balcony that had two eggs in her nest! While we were there, one of them hatched! It was so cute, a little yellow fuzzball!
THAILAND, Ao Nang, Krabi, Bangkok
Today we got to Krabi. It was a pretty short flight, only two hours. We took a taxi from the airport and drove into the jungle. The car was really cool!!! It had rainbow lights on the ceiling and was cool because it was dark outside. When we got to Ao Nang we got out of the car and walked up a ramp and turned right to our house! Our house was cool!! It had 2 big bedrooms, a kitchen and a nice bench instead of a couch. We went to dinner at the resort restaurant and we were the only ones there! Then a German family came and sat next to us. After that we went back to our house and fell asleep.

The last mornig in Rome, we woke up and went to the airport. We went through security and to the lounge and I ate meringues and pasta. Then we got on the airplane and it was awesome.

Hello! Today I am leaving Europe. We woke up and packed our things then walked to the Rome Termini train station to catch a train to Fiumicino Airport in Rome. We checked into our flight and went through security. We went to the gate and me and Cole went to the candy shop to spend our last Euros because you can’t use Euros in Thailand. In Thailand you use Thai Baht. We got on the airplane and there were screens on the seats in front of us!! We were SO HAPPY because this meant I could watch screens and play games for 10 hours!!!! Then the food came and I had mashed potatoes, carrots, a banana and a little dessert. Then I went to sleep. I woke up in the morning and played more video games. Soon after that, we landed. It was a FUN flight.
Elephant Nature Park, Northern THAILAND

Hello. Today I woke up and was really excited to go to the Elephant Nature Park. Mom and dad chose that place because we didn’t want to ride elephants because it hurts their spine. All of the elephants there were rescued from people who were treating them bad. For example, some people use the elephants for riding and for logging. They do this to make money. Just because elephants are big and strong, it doesn’t mean that people should use them as servants or do their dirty work for them. Logging is very hard on elephants and damages their body.

9/23/2019 Rome to Naples
Today we woke up and went to the train station. We didn’t feel sad to leave our Rome apartment because even though we loved Rome, we didn’t really like our neighborhood. It was noisy and full of garbage. So, we were ready to move on. Anyway, we got on the train and I read my Kindle the whole trip. I am reading The Ranger’s Apprentice series. On the way down to Naples I saw a water buffalo!!! Do you know why water buffalo are so important? Because them make fresh buffalo mozzerella!!!! When we got to Naples we walked for 15 minutes and got to our Airbnb. It was great. It wasn’t like the one in Rome it was in a nice neighborhood called Vomero. I had a TV in my bedroom. When we got there we settled in then went to the grocery store. After that we came home, had dinner, watched a movie in my bed then went to sleep.

Hi. Today I am going on a train to ROME!!!!!! I am leaving Lucca. I woke up and my family, me and Anni went to the train station immediately! Me, Anni and Cole sat on a bench well waiting for the train to come. Finally it arrived! I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT I WAS GOING TO ROME!! I am excited to go to the Colloseum, go to the Sistine Chapel, and have fun! Now I will tell you some facts about the Colloseum. The Colloseum was originally called Ampitheater of Flavian. In there the gladiators would fight animals and other pepole. Gladiaters are crimanals. Back in the day when you broke the law, you would have to fight in the Colloseum. If you were that person, you would not know what weapons you would get or what you would be fighting.
