London

8/1/19

Today we got to London on 1 airplane, 2 trains and then we walked for a little and then we got into our hotel in Waterloo which was AMAZING.

Then we unpacked all of our stuff and went to Platform 9 & 3/4 at Kings Cross Station. After that we went to an AWESOME Indian restaurant called Dishoom. I’ve always liked Indian food , but this restaurant made me LOVE Indian food.

Today we went on a bike tour of London. We went on a bike called a tandem bike. It is a bike that fits two people. On the tour we saw Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace (where Princess Diana lived) and Kensington Park (where Peter Pan was written). We also saw Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, The London Eye and Trafalgar Square. All together me and my mom biked over 7 miles straight and we had a great time. After the bike tour we walked through Hyde Park and passed the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain. After we walked some more and stopped for SUSHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today our parents woke us up early to surprise us to go to where the Harry Potter movies were filmed. Here we got to see all the sets and props. My Favorite part was when we went into the Forbidden Forest it was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite part of the Forbidden Forest was when all of the spiders dropped down from the ceiling and scared everybody, even me, and my second favorite part was when Aragog came out of his hole.

On the way home from the studio we got to take the Overground and the Underground. Between these two rail networks you can get all around London and the surrounding cities, you just need to know how to use it. It took us two days to figure this out, but all you need to do is have your parent put their VISA card to the machine and you get the lowest price straight away.

London was awesome. I want to go back sometime to eat the Indian food and see all the sites again.

The next day, we got up early again to fly to Lisbon, Portugal. I hope it’s as much fun as London!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
