Tokyo, JAPAN

Our Tokyo hotel.
More sushi!
Ramen masters and me with a belly full of dipping ramen.
Google Lens translation, HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
Tokyo has a lot of water and bridges. We walked all around town and over so many bridges!!
Hot coco!!
Ikura!! It’s salmon roe/eggs and it’s my FAVORITE!!
Me in Shibuya. It’s busy there like Times Square in New York City.
We got interviewed by some school kids at the airport. They asked questions about tourism and about us. We gave them all friendship pins of our USA flag.
Leaving Japan. This was before the very last flight of our trip.

When we got to Tokyo Station, we walked a little bit and got to our hotel.  It was a family hotel and they had toys we could borrow to take to our room.  We checked in and borrowed a toy and went to our room. It had bunk beds for me and Anna!!   We dropped off our bags and went out to explore Tokyo. We went to Shibuya, a busy neighborhood in Tokyo that is famous for it’s really big and busy intersection.  We found a fun conveyor belt sushi place where each stool had its own screen to order your food. Then we went shopping for souvenir Kit Kats!! There were so many flavors, like apple, strawberry cheesecake, wasabi, sake, pancake, matcha, chestnut, orange, gin, and bean curd!!

Tokyo was a fun and very beautiful. It has many different neighborhoods, some are calm and some are crazy and lots of good parks. The food was SO good, they even had a crab ramen restaurant!! I can’t wait to come back here someday.  I really enjoyed Tokyo.                   BYE BYE TOKYO

Arriving at LAX.
This is the same bench where we started our trip in July. We sat here when we left Hermosa for Chicago before heading to UK. I found a dime that day under this bench. Then on this day, we went right from the LAX international terminal to Southwest terminal (here) to go to Chicago to see our families!! We were happy to be back and hear English for the first time since August in London!!
HOME SWEET HOME!!!
